LPD Summer Dance Camp

Multiple Dance Streams

We are thrilled to offer multiple streams of classes during our Summer Dance Camp to accommodate all levels.

Dancers will explore a variety of styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, Latin jazz, jive, lyrical, musical theatre, and more!

Schedule

Classes run from 9:00am-3:00pm

A typical day looks like:

9:00-9:45 Group Warm Up

9:45-10:00 Break

10:00-10:45 Class 1

10:45-11:30 Class 2

11:30-12:00 Group Production Number

12:00-12:45 Lunch

12:45-2:00 Workshop

2:00-2:45 Class 3

2:45-3:00 Show and Tell

What should I bring to camp?

1. water

  • water bottles can be refilled at the studio

2. snacks and lunch

  • we have a refrigerator and microwave

3. a blanket

  • we are going to use blankets as our individual hubs and personal space boundaries

  • dancers will eat snacks and lunch “picnic style” on their blankets in our main studio

4. layers of dancewear

5. all dance shoes

  • we understand that everyone might not have the appropriate dance shoes for every style. That is okay, bring what you have!

6. any personal hygiene items they might need throughout the day

Dancers will have access to individual storage lockers for camp. We recommend that they leave personal items such as their shoes, blanket, and a backup water bottle at the studio.
