International Women’s Day: The Strength of Women Supporting Women
We see the power of women every day.
It shows up in the studio in small but meaningful ways: an older dancer helping a younger one, classmates cheering each other on, teachers guiding students through moments of growth and challenge.
LPD is a place where confidence is built, friendships are formed, and young people learn to trust their voices and their bodies.
A Studio Led by Strong Women
LPD is proud to be led by a team of dedicated women who care deeply about the dancers in their classrooms.
Miss Hannah, Miss Chloe, Miss Sophie, Miss Aoife, and Miss Isabel bring warmth, skill, and generosity to everything they do. They challenge dancers to grow while ensuring that every student feels welcomed, supported, and seen.
Their leadership helps shape a studio culture where kindness, discipline, and creativity can exist side by side.
The Next Generation
One of the most beautiful things about a dance studio is watching generations of dancers grow together.
Our youngest dancers take their first leaps across the floor while our senior students model focus and leadership. Over time, these young dancers grow into mentors themselves, passing on encouragement and support to those who follow.
That cycle of mentorship is something we treasure deeply at LPD.
A Community of Women
International Women’s Day is also a moment to recognize the many women who make our dance community possible: the mothers, grandmothers, guardians, volunteers, and alumni who support dancers every step of the way.
We also want to celebrate our incredible adult dancers. Our adult classes are filled with women who show up for themselves and for each other week after week. They encourage one another, celebrate progress, laugh through the hard combinations, and have built a community that extends well beyond the studio walls.
Rumour has it their group chat is fire.
Celebrating Together
Today, we invite our dance families to take a moment to recognize the women and girls who inspire you.
A teacher.
A friend.
A mentor.
A child.
The strength of our community comes from the way we lift one another up.
Happy International Women’s Day from all of us at Lynn Panting Dance.
