Recital 2026 Cheat Sheet

Recital season is here, and with it comes a lot of information.

To keep things simple, this is your quick-reference guide to everything you need to know. If you’re ever unsure, start here.

Quick Info

Recital: May 16 — Holy Heart Theatre
Dress Rehearsal: May 16 (1:00–4:00 PM) — Holy Heart Theatre
Staging Rehearsal: May 15 — Holy Heart Theatre

Mandatory Run: May 9 — In-studio
Optional Runs: April 18, 25, May 2 — In-studio

Staging and dress rehearsals are mandatory for all dancers.

Theatre Guidelines

• No parents/guardians backstage

• No photos or videos

• Costumes stay at the theatre (Level 1+)

• Water and simple, non-messy snacks only

For All Dancers

Hair: Low bun

Makeup:
Foundation, blush, mascara, berry lip

Bring:
Water bottle, small snack, labeled shoes, laundry basket

Costumes & Base Layers

Wee Dance, Combo, Level 1
Ballet pink tights

Level 2+
Tights as assigned

Level 1 and up
Nude bodysuit required

Costume Handling

Wee Dance + Combo
Costumes go home after staging

Level 1 and up
Costumes stay at the theatre
