Creative Leadership Workshops & Facilitation
Art = Work.
We spend a lot of time talking about creativity and not nearly enough time talking about the skills that support it. Communication, trust, leadership, accountability, and collaboration are foundational and essential to creative working environments. My workshops help individuals and organizations build stronger creative processes and healthier working relationships.
Building Better Rehearsal Rooms
Every rehearsal room has a culture. It’s important that we are intentional in the type of culture we are creating.
Good creative processes are built through clear expectations, strong communication, accountability, and trust. This workshop provides practical tools for directors, choreographers, producers, educators, and arts leaders who want to create environments where people can contribute fully, navigate challenges productively, and do their best work.
Drawing on rehearsal leadership, consent-based practice, facilitation, and contemporary approaches to collaboration, participants leave with strategies they can immediately apply to their own projects and organizations.

While rooted in artistic practice, the tools and approaches explored are valuable for any team seeking stronger relationships, improved communication, and a greater sense of collective purpose.

Leadership in Creative Spaces
There is no single right way to lead.
Effective leaders develop an understanding of their own values, communication styles, strengths, and challenges, and learn how to adapt those qualities to the needs of the people and projects they serve.
This workshop invites participants to explore their leadership identity and develop a deeper understanding of how they work with others. Through reflection, discussion, and practical exercises, participants examine different leadership approaches, identify their own tendencies, and build strategies for leading with greater confidence, clarity, and intention.
This workshop provides tools for understanding yourself and supporting others more effectively.

If you’re looking to build a room where people can do their best work, I’d love to collaborate.
This work is intended for the creative and producorial team with decision-making authority on a project. It should be completed before designers and performers join the room, so that the foundation of the process is already in place.
A room agreement is a collectively created set of values and practices that guides how people show up, work together, and care for one another in a rehearsal space.
This guide takes you through the process step by step.
