When is the recital?
The recital takes place at 7:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Dress rehearsal happens earlier that day, and dancers should plan to be available from 1:00 PM onward. There is a break between rehearsal and the performance.
Younger dancers will only be required for a portion of that time.
Where is the recital?

When are tickets available? How do I purchase?
Tickets will be available in April 2026.
Tickets can be purchased:
Online through the theatre
By phone through the box office
In person during box office hours
There are no purchase limits, and block booking is available.
This is our first recital. What should we know?
The recital is both a celebration and a learning experience.
It marks a year of growth while also introducing dancers to:
Performance
Professionalism
Stage etiquette
For Wee Dancers, the focus is a joyful, low-pressure introduction.
As dancers progress, the focus shifts toward building independence, discipline, and performance skills.
Are rehearsals mandatory?
Yes.
All dancers must attend staging rehearsal and dress rehearsal in order to perform. This is essential for safety, spacing, and overall coordination.
Consistent attendance leading up to the recital is also strongly encouraged.
What are the backstage rules?
To support safety, focus, and dancer independence:
No parents/guardians backstage or in dressing rooms
Volunteers may assist with supervision
Water is encouraged
Simple, non-messy snacks only
No photos or videos during the performance
Do costumes stay at the theatre?
Yes, for most dancers.
Costumes for Level 1+ dancers remain at the theatre during recital weekend.
Wee Dance and Combo classes may have different arrangements.
Do dancers receive flowers?
Giving flowers is a long-standing recital tradition, but it is not required.
Many families choose to participate as a way to celebrate their dancer at the end of the performance.
