What to Bring
Your Enthusiasm
Our dancers thrive on the energy and encouragement of the audience. Bring your cheers, your applause, and your excitement.
Flowers or Small Gifts
A small token for your dancer is always appreciated, though never required.
Backstage Essentials
Dancers should arrive prepared with:
All required shoes and dancewear
A labelled water bottle
Non-messy snacks
Quiet activities such as coloring or a small book
A laundry basket to act as their personal backstage container
Important Reminders
Nude Bodysuits
Dancers in Level 1 and up are required to wear a nude bodysuit backstage. This allows dancers to change comfortably throughout the performance process.
Wee Dance & Combo Costumes
Wee Dance and Combo dancers will take their costumes home following staging rehearsal and should arrive wearing them for both dress rehearsal and performance day.
No Parents Backstage
No parents are permitted backstage during rehearsals or the performance.
Our backstage team has a well-established process that supports dancers in having a safe, organized, and positive experience.
Performance Etiquette
To help create the best experience for all audience members and performers, we kindly ask that you:
Arrive on time
Silence phones and devices during the performance
Refrain from photography or video recording during the show
No photography or videography is permitted during the performance. We know how exciting these moments are, but this policy helps protect the experience for our dancers, audience members, and families while allowing everyone to stay present and engaged.
We want every dancer to feel safe, supported, and celebrated on stage.
A Celebration of Dance & Community
Our dancers have poured themselves into this work, and we cannot wait to share it with you.
Thank you for being part of the Lynn Panting Dance community. We’ll see you at the show!
