LPD Wrapped
As the year winds down, we’ve been reflecting on the small breakthroughs, the big moments, and all the in-between parts that make up a dance year.
Top Moves This Year
Our most consistent moves were about how we showed up.
Showing up, even on hard days
Working hard and staying curious
Supporting each other in class and beyond
Choosing effort and generosity, again and again
The Numbers
Because sometimes the numbers tell part of the story:
1,380 hours of dance in the studio
3 new staff members joining the LPD team
32% studio growth this year
Most Played Track
“Lie in Our Graves”, Dave Matthews Band
167 plays
What We Learned This Year
This year reinforced some of the values we care most about:
Progress isn’t linear
Everybody dances differently and that’s a good thing
Confidence grows when dancers feel safe to try
Dance is better when we do it together
We focused on the intrinsic joy of dance over external validation. When dancers are motivated by how movement feels something deeper and more sustainable takes root.
On Repeat
Community over comparison
Confidence over perfection
Intrinsic joy of dance over external validation
Work hard
Good vibes
Thank You
Thank you to our dancers, families, and staff for being part of this year. For your trust, your commitment, and your care for this community.
We can’t wait for more dance, more growth, and more shared moments in 2026.
