We’ve had a wonderful first month of classes, and everything is running smoothly. Thank you so much for helping to make that happen!
A few important notes as we move into the new month:
October Fees: If you’ve chosen monthly payments, please note that October fees are now past due.
Performing Group: Our Performing Group begins on Monday, October 6th. We’ll also have an intensive on Monday, October 13th.
Studio Closures: The studio will be closed for regular classes on Monday, October 13th and Tuesday, November 11th.
Thursday Specials in October
We’re excited for our Thursday Specials this fall! These focused one-hour sessions give our Level 3+ dancers the chance to dive deeper into technique, explore new skills, and have some fun outside their regular classes. Each class is offered by donation to the LPD Scholarship Fund (starting at $10).

October 2 – Body Conditioning for Dancers
October 9 – Ballet Technique Tune-Up
October 16 – Turns in Second
October 23 – Switch Arabesque
October 30 – Dance Like Lady Gaga (Halloween Special!)
All classes run 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Halloween in the Studio
From October 27th to November 1st, dancers are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to class!
We love seeing everyone’s creativity, but please make sure your costume allows for safe movement. Avoid long dresses or anything that could cause tripping so that you can dance freely and safely.

People develop at their own pace. What comes easily to one dancer may take another more time; it’s the nature of growth. Comparison can make us lose sight of this truth.
The way you process a bad experience can deeply impact how you carry yourself into your future work. Whatever choice you make, it’s important that you make it consciously.
